You are welcome to pick up a copy of our monthly newsletter at any of the entrances to the church. We don't publish some of our news online, but you are welcome to subscribe to our weekly email update or our online monthly newsletter by emailing the church office with your name and email address.

We would love to give you a tour of the building, answer any questions you might have, and provide you with literature about our faith and our community. SUNDAY WORSHIP - 10:00AM 

 

ADVENT WORSHIP

AWE! (A Worship Experience) is our special mid-week casual worship evenings. For the Advent Season, we will gather for a potluck supper at 6:00PM, followed by worship at 7:00PM on a mid-week evening.

Sunday Worship Service begins at 10AM.

 

CHRISTMAS EVE WORSHIP

5:00PM Family Service: A Family service that includes a children's pageant. Perfect for all ages.

8:00PM Service of Scripture and Song: Featuring candlelight, a brass quintet, the NCC choir, the scriptural retelling of the Christmas Story, and enough hymns to make it a festive night! 

11:00PM Service of Light and Communion: A a quiet and reflective candlelight service that celebrates the light of Christ. Communion is offered and Christmas Day is welcomed with the chiming of the midnight hour.

  LENTEN WORSHIP

Ash Wednesday begins our special mid-week worship evenings. On Ash Wednesday we gather for a potluck soup and salad supper at 6:00PM. The supper is followed by worship at 7:00PM which includes the reception of ashes. After Ash Wednesday, the weekly evening gatherings will change to Thursday evenings and be held in the lower level church classroom across from the library. 

Maundy Thursday begins with a 6:00PM light soup and salad potluck supper held in the upper level Great Room. At 7:00PM we transition to the church sanctuary for a worship service that includes the office of the Tenebrae (reflection of darkness and shadow).

Good Friday offers a self-guided meditation and reflection space in the sanctuary from 9:00AM until 5:00PM. Helpful materials are available at the doors.

 

  EASTER WORSHIP

Outdoor Sonrise Worship Service: Offered as the sun rises (times vary according to the time of year), this service is held at the top of Castle Hill (near the bench). Bundle up in hats, coats, and gloves to participate in this communion celebration of the glorious morning!  Following the service, there is a continental breakfast waiting in the church's Great Room fellowship hall.

10:00AM Indoor Sanctuary Worship Service: Easter morning in all its glory is celebrated with a full traditional service that includes special musicians. Following the service the congregation is invited to a time of fellowship and refreshments in the Great Room.
