Who Is Our Neighbor? - All the people of the world!
Our hearts reach out to those in need... physically and emotionally. Below are a few resources to assist those in need. You may contact our pastors in the church office for further assistance.
Hospitality Hall: In the lower level lobby of NCC is a shelving unit containing canned food, cleaning supplies, and toiletries. Through the generosity of individuals within and outside the church membership, the shelves receive donations to support daily needs of people in our community. No questions are asked and the only requirement is that each person only take what they need for that day so others may also utilize this support.
Newtown Social Services - Offers a variety of services for people in need of assistance: Backpacks with school supplies, Energy assistance, Food Pantry,
Holiday Baskets,Home repairs, Housing for the elderly and disabled, Health assistance, Operation fuel, and much more. Located at 3 Main Street, Newtown CT (behind the Police Station). Contact: 203-270-4330
