Newtown Congregational Church baptizes individuals of all ages. If you would like you or your child(ren) to be baptized, contact the office to schedule a baptismal date and receive a baptismal request form.

Baptismal families are requested to arrive in the sanctuary by 9:30AM on the day of the baptism. Seating will be reserved for extended family and friends near the front of the Sanctuary in order to provide optimum viewing or this special occasion! Please notify the office if more than twenty witnesses plan to attend.

The newly baptized babies and young children receive a Certificate of Baptism, a baptismal candle, and a handmade baby blanket. Newly baptized dults receive a Certificate of Baptism and a candle.
